FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. How do I register? First, get an ARBO OE Tracker Number. Your last name and the Tracker Number are all you need to register and log in. 2. ARBO OE Tracker Number?
If you don't have an ARBO OE Tracker Number, go to www.arbo.org to get one. We use this number along with your last name to identify you in our database. An error message can appear for multiple reasons:
AOA CE ON-LINE does not use passwords. Security and user identifcation are based on your last name and ARBO OE Tracker Number. If you forget your ARBO OE tracking number, you can retrieve it at www.arbo.org. If you have your correct ARBO OE Tracking Number and still experience difficulties logging in, contact Technical Support at istory_techsupport@visualeyes.com. 5. Am I able to change my personal information online? Yes. To update your records, click on USER PROFILE. Log In, and the information we have for you will appear. Please make the appropriate changes to your profile. 6. Does the web site keep a log of the exams that I submit on-line? Yes. You may view your on-line record by clicking USER HISTORY on the INDEX tab. You will be asked to log in. Your history will show the exam title, the date you took it, your results, and the CE credits earned. You may print a copy of your history. This is a great way to manage your CE requirements throughout the year, especially at license renewal time. İ7. How does AOA CE On-Line collect my payment? Before you take the exam, if a payment is required, aİpayment page will appear. You must use a major credit card to participate in AOA CE ON-LINE. 8. How do I take a test for a course? When you are satisfied with your mastery of the lesson, select "TAKE TEST" from the INDEX tab. Follow the steps, then take the test. 10. I wanted to take a specific lesson, but the link is gone. What happened? Like milk, all CE courses have an expiration date. When courses become dated, they are not re-submitted for COPE approval and are removed from the site. 11. Are all of your courses approved for continuing education by my State Board of Optometry? Each state or province, (and some cities or counties) in Canada and the U.S. has its own requirements for CE approval. The closest thing to standardization is COPE approval. İYour state Board of Optometry may not accept your lesson selection, even though all our lessons are COPE-approved. İContact your state licensing board to check their requirements. 12. Is my personal information secure? Your personal information will not be shared or divulged for any commercial and/or unauthorized use. In addition all financial transactions and associated information will be conducted only via secure internet connections. 13. If I have a problem or a question about my account can I speak with someone? Yes. Questions regarding your OE TRACKER number should be directed to ARBO as directed above. Any technical questions, or questions regarding your AOA CE On-Line account can be directed to istory_techsupport@visualeyes.com. 14. Will you report my continuing education credits to my state board? No. Neither AOA CE On-Line nor the ARBO OE TRACKER Program will report your CE activities. Doctors are solely responsible for reporting to their state boards for license renewal.İ 15. Can I access a lesson from a different computer than the one I registered from? Yes. You can access a lesson regardless of the computer you initially registered from by entering last name and your ARBO OE Tracker number. |
